Meet the Atmos Summit Card!

I applied for this new card a few days ago and it's currently on its way to me. I have been looking forward to this new card ever since Alaska Airlines teased us with it last year. If you're someone who flies with Alaska Airlines or Hawaiian Airlines , or just travels a ton and loves perks—the Atmos Summit Visa Infinite card is worth a look. It dropped in August of 2025 alongside the new Atmos Rewards program (which combined Alaska’s Mileage Plan and HawaiianMiles into one flexible system). The card’s heavy on benefits that make globetrotting smoother and more rewarding.

It has a $395 annual fee, but packed with perks that frequent travelers can actually use. Here is why this card is a gamechanger:

Welcome Bonus: 100,000 Points + 25,000-Point Companion Award

Spend $6,000 in the first 90 days and you’ll earn 100,000 Atmos points — good for flights across Alaska, Hawaiian, oneworld, and partner airlines.
Plus, you’ll also get a 25,000-point Companion Award you can use to book someone else a ticket on the same flight (domestic or international).

3x Points Categories

• 3x on Alaska and Hawaiian purchases – Earn more every time you fly either airline.

• 3x on dining – Whether it's restaurants, takeout, or delivery.

• 3x on foreign purchases – Not just travel, but any qualifying international spending.

• 1x on everything else

• Note: Bank of America Preferred Rewards members can get a 10% points boost, bumping that 3x up to 3.3x.

Status Shortcut

• 10,000 Status Points every year just for having the card.

• Earn 1 Status Point for every $2 you spend.
  That means you’re halfway to Atmos Silver (20,000 points) just by holding the card. Spend regularly and you could reach Atmos Gold (which comes with oneworld Sapphire benefits) without even flying.

Companion Awards

• Every year, you get a 25,000-point Companion Award on your card anniversary.

• Spend $60,000 in a calendar year and earn a second Companion Award worth 100,000 points.
  These awards can be used in any cabin — even business class — and are valid across the Atmos partner network.

Alaska Lounge Access

• You’ll receive 8 Alaska Lounge day passes every year (2 per quarter).
  Each pass is valid for the whole day and works even on partner airline itineraries. Great for longer layovers.

Baggage & Boarding Perks

• Free checked bag for you and up to 6 others on the same Alaska or Hawaiian reservation.

• Preferred boarding on both airlines, so you’re not fighting for overhead bin space.

Flight Delay Benefit

If your Alaska Airlines flight is delayed by 2+ hours or canceled within 24 hours of departure, you automatically get a $50 travel voucher as compensation — no claim needed.

Same-Day Flight Change Waiver

Need to change plans last-minute? You can change to another Alaska Airlines flight on the same day without paying the usual change fee (up to $50 value).

No Partner Booking Fees

Booking award flights with partner airlines? The usual booking fee (up to $25 per person) is waived for cardholders.
